How to choose an agent-workforce platform

Every platform in this category will tell you it runs your business. The questions that actually separate them are what you own when you leave, whether anyone takes a percentage of what you earn, and what their terms say you still have to do each day.

What separates these platforms in practice?

Four questions, and none of them is a feature. What are you left holding if you leave. Does anyone take a percentage of what your business earns. What do the terms — not the homepage — say you still have to do. And does the platform produce predictions, or only text.

Answer those four and the category sorts itself quickly. Most of these products cover one function well and are honest about being software you subscribe to. One of them takes a share of your revenue. Very few produce an application you own, and almost none deploy trained models alongside their language agents.

Read at each company’s own site. Where something is not published, this table says so rather than guessing. These are capable products and three of the four are solving a narrower problem than newc0 — which is a difference in scope, not a criticism.

newc0“A conversation becomes a running company”An application you own, and an agent workforce operating it across four functions.A flat subscription. Amount not published yet.

Why does newc0 not call its agents employees?

Because they are not, and the whole category is training buyers to expect something software cannot do. Digital workers, AI employees, your next hire, AI workforce: the language is nearly universal, and it sets up the disappointment that arrives in week three when the approval queue turns out to be real.

An agent runs a function. It does not exercise judgment or hold accountability. Saying so costs a little persuasion up front and saves the customer relationship later.

Questions about choosing

What should you actually compare when choosing an agent platform?

Four things, in this order: what you are left holding if you leave, whether anyone takes a percentage of your revenue, what the terms say you still have to do, and whether the platform produces predictions or only text. Feature lists are the least useful part of any comparison in this category.

Do these platforms take a percentage of your revenue?

Most do not. Of the platforms reviewed here, only Polsia documents a percentage — a platform fee of currently 20% on customer payments and separately on advertising spend. Treating revenue share as a category-wide trait would be wrong, which is why this page names the one platform where it applies.

Why do they all describe agents as employees?

Because it sells. Digital workers, AI employees, your next hire, AI workforce — the language is near-universal in the category. It is also the thing that sets the expectation people churn over, because staff exercise judgment and are accountable, and software is neither.

How much of your day will any of these actually take?

More than zero, on every platform. Read the terms rather than the homepage: the sections on your responsibilities usually say you must review outputs, monitor costs and supervise actions, even where the marketing says the system runs itself. That gap is the single most reliable predictor of disappointment.
